My son took it back pack camping. He was able to charge his phone three times without having to charge it again. Only negative is flashlight is hard to turn on but I understand why. No one wants to find no battery due to flashlight got turned on in a bag.

I took it with our camping trip to Zion, and it works well. My phone got full charged by it. It also has a flash light which turned out to be useful in the night. According to the manual, I charged the charger with usb cable before the trip.

Bought this as a gift for a friend who travels for business and also camps for recreation. Other than being a bit heavy, it is perfect and she really is using it!
