This tent was a great find and a must if anyone is prone to sunburn. With our inaugural use on the beach, we ran into 35-40 mph gusts of wind. Without the tent, we would have left after 10 minutes, as we saw many other families do. The tent stayed put for 4 hours using only the attached sand bags. Initially, placing the solid wall against the wind seemed like a good idea but the tent became completely stable when we rotated it 90 degrees and turned the opening into the wind. It's a terrific way to enjoy the sun, sand and surf without getting burned.
